Ei sunt considerați patronii spirituali ai unor localități sau biserici, rămășițele lor trupești sunt prețuite ca adevărate comori făcătoare de minuni, un număr impresionant de oameni se adună pentru a-i venera în procesiuni, iar câștigul financiar provenit din promovarea cultului lor nu este nicidecum de neglijat. Jesus said of Himself with authority, "I am . . . the Truth," and His followers need to base all their convictions and beliefs on the truth. Only the truth has the power to set us free and lead us to God. That is, exactly what each of us wants.
