Adventist and Academic.

Plexus provides information about Adventist academic publications and events. (It also includes news about some non-academic titles.) It was launched out of the two-fold conviction that (1) Adventist academia matters, and that (2) Adventists need a place where they can gain an easy overview of what their academia is doing.

The website title reflects the aim of this information: the word plexus refers to a network of interlacing nerves or blood vessels. By being a news aggregator that maps out Adventist academia, Plexus seeks to contribute to the networking, informing, and upbuilding of the body of Christ.

To inform the reader about this academic output, it is helpful to include works by and about Adventists, and the entire spectrum of such publications, ranging from confessional to critical. Posts do not equate endorsement.

Plexus is run by Daniel Muller (the Netherlands) and Jón Hjörleifur Stefánsson (Iceland), two European Adventists and academics.

If you are aware of recent titles that we have overlooked, we would be most grateful if you click “Contact Us” and share them with us.
